SEXY LITTLE FUCKER

By Frann Schollaert

Frann Schollaert's work starts from the body as a vulnerable, living landscape where emotions, memories and tensions manifest themselves physically. Not the outer form, but the inner experience is central: feeling, being present and moving out of necessity.

SEXY LITTLE FUCKER is a physical and intimate duet about touch: the desire to be touched, the fear of it and the search for new forms of contact. The performers move in a tension field of support, confrontation and disruption, where touch is sometimes tender, sometimes abrasive or evasive.

From lived experience, Frann wants to address the urgency of the issue of touch and boundary crossing. Societal issues such as consent, intimacy and power dynamics are sounding ever louder. The performance is a physical and intuitive form to open the conversation on these issues.

The title SEXY LITTLE FUCKER embodies the tension between vulnerability and strength, between playfulness and confrontation. In doing so, the maker invites the audience to look beyond judgement, and think more intimately about touch as a human need and source of conflict.
