Ever Heard About Boundaries

Ever Heard About Boundaries explores how the body expresses itself after experiences of transgressive behaviour. Moving between surrender, rigidity and hyperalertness, Frann Schollaert explores the steps to recovery.

Frann questions labels like ‘guilt’ and ‘responsibility’ that are so often stuck on a body after transgressive behaviour. Through movement, Frann loosens these labels, shifting them and giving them new meaning. How can the body be made its own again? How can it reclaim space and power? Which direction is it heading and what is the rhythm that fits now?

Frann Schollaert (she/they) is a creator and performer from Belgium, currently living in Tilburg. Frann's artistic development started at the Kunsthumaniora in Brussels, followed by the dance course at Fontys Academy of the Arts - direction Contemporary Urban and Choreography (BACH). Upon graduating in 2024, Frann received the Jacques de Leeuw Award for promising young talent.
