AAA

AAA is a performance by Jana Jacuka. This solo work explores the voice as a choreographic instrument and delves into the vocal practice of yodelling. AAA moves between control and surrender, precision and letting go, and invites an experience lived both physically and aurally.

Building on Jana's master's research at DAS Theatre and her previous work HA, in which she explored the performativity of laughter and the letters H and A, this new work invites the other letters of the alphabet onto the stage and explores the vocal, physical and political nuances of each letter.

The work is made in collaboration with artistic mentor eva susova.
