From 2021, Simon was a maker at PLAN talent development Brabant, first under the auspices of Corpo Máquina and Parktheater Eindhoven, then at DansBrabant. Since 2024, Simon has been a core maker at DansBrabant.

Dancer Simon Bus is fascinated by portraits. Part of his ongoing work consists of movement portraits of which Self-portrait, Man on Orange Floor (2019) and Portrait, Balder on Blue Floor (2023) are part.

Simon Bus
Simon is a bizarre, unusual dancer, with his own movement language, open and always looking to exchange with other creators and new working methods. In recent years, he made several performances around his love for portraits. In 2022, Simon won the Innovation Prize Dutch Dance Days Maastricht, with which he made Six Portraits in 2023, which he presented at the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht.
