EXIT
EXIT is an encounter between four individuals. In a large, impressive installation with floating doors and a rotating wall, they attempt to walk a path together. They arrive and leave, meet and leave, appear and disappear. Meanwhile, they collide, climb, balance and transform.
EXIT is a flirtation with risk. In their quest for independence, the four need each other more than ever. They keep each other in balance, but also unbalance each other. Human beings will always move forward, but what if you are always 'on the move' and never 'arrive' anywhere?
EXIT is an exciting and physical performance on the border of circus and dance. For this performance, choreographer Piet van Dycke invited four diverse circus artists specialising in bascule, straps, trapeze and acro dance. Four individual disciplines that together end up speaking a collective language.
