Workshop by Andreas Hannes

Alienated organises workshops and classes to boost the dance field in Tilburg and the surrounding area. This year, we offer monthly workshops with choreographers from the (local) field. We kick off 2025 with our first workshop by Andreas Hannes.

Skipping workshop by Andreas Hannes (Bring good trainers!)
Since 2017, Andreas started practising continuous skipping. The action of skipping is a historic, cross-cultural movement for the human body. During the workshop, we will go through the basic training and principles of continuous skipping, exploring how balance and weight work in this movement. We will continue to experience and understand the relationship and play with other skippers in space and in different group settings. We will also work with patterns, geometric shapes and small choreographic scores and footwork. The workshop is mainly aimed at professional dancers and dance students. The exercise is physically demanding and is based on repetition and variation. But it also gives back energy and is possible for all ages.

Andreas Hannes has a background in music (percussion), film and choreography. In 2018, he graduated from SNDO in Amsterdam. He won the Moving Forward Trajectory 2018 and the Young Art Support Amsterdam 2019, and produced the hopping sequel Tremble (Dansmakers, 2019). In 2020, he won the BNG Dans Prijs and began the subsequent practice of warping with the creation Warping Soul, under Danslokaal (Conny Janssen Danst, Dansateliers, Korzo), which was selected for Aerowaves '22. He created work for the Dutch Dance Days and the Fontys Dance Academy. Andreas is also artistic director of Cinedans FEST.

Prices:
New this year is the pricing of our workshop. From January, we will be working with a Pay What You Can system. We give 3 options you can choose from, each appropriate for different situations. We have a basic, normal and supportive price, depending on your personal situation you can decide which one to pay.

We have to increase our prices this year. We have to do this because we want to invite bigger names, which also means more costs for us to book them. We hope you understand this and can still join our workshops!
On 11 January, we will increase our last-minute prices.

All prices include VAT and €0.15 administration fee.

We can offer a limited number of spots, only once you have paid will your spot be reserved for you!
You will receive an invoice once you have paid for the workshop, this is your proof of registration.
There is no refund policy for the workshop; however, you can resell your ticket to someone else.
