Seasoning Summer @ United Cowboys

At the start of every new season, United Cowboys from Eindhoven organises a two-day event showcasing new work from the worlds of dance, performance, music and the visual arts. This evening’s programme has been curated by United Cowboys.

On 26 and 27 June, SKYPUNCH COLLECTIVE and Jana Jacuka, amongst others, will be exhibiting their work.

From SKYPUNCH COLLECTIVE The film they made as part of the Virtual Residency for the Dutch Dance Days is on show.
To this end, they explored a virtual world in which bodies occupy and transcend both their own space and that of others. By superimposing and layering images, the figures encounter one another without the constraints of time and space. This gives rise to a radical intimacy.

Jana Jacuka is working on a new performance with the working title AAA. In this solo piece, she explores the voice as choreography, focusing on the vocal practice of yodelling. By oscillating between control, surrender, precision and letting go, she invites AAA into an experience that can be physically felt and heard. At United Cowboys, Jana presents a work-in-progress of AAA.
