An afternoon and evening dedicated to the new work of Alesya Dobysh and Simon Bus — with space for everything that inspires, motivates and influences their work.

16:00–18:00 — A new approach to movement
A workshop led by Simon Bus, in which you’ll get to work with the raw, physical movement language he developed from visual art, arthouse film, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and breaking.

20:00–22:00 — Evening performance (free)
After a break for lunch, the doors will open again. Dobysh and Bus will be sharing research for their new work currently in development at DansBrabant — alongside drawings by a dancer and a visual artist Julius Hulshof and a sound performance by the artist Liza Kuzyakova, both based in The Hague.
More than just a performance, tonight’s event is an invitation to step into the artistic world of bus.dobysh — the people, references and questions that have given rise to this new work.
