Music Meets Dance
Alesya Dobysh X Sun-Mi Hong

Four performances, each with a dancer opposite one or two musicians, freely improvising. It could well be the start of a beautiful collaboration. And an immersive experience for the audience. Together with dance platform WhyNot, we paired these renowned and emerging performing artists. Each of them developed their own musical and physical language.

Alesya Dobysh X Sun-Mi Hong
Alesya Dobysh combines her background in street, house and battle dance with performance art, theatre, visual art and sound art. Experimenting with different forms, she develops her own choreographies. In drummer Sun-Mi Hong's work, we hear catchy melodies and dramatic bursts, alongside impressionistic sound patterns and unusual time signatures.
