Lesson: Contemporary Partnering by Hygin Delimat

Alienated organises open classes for professional performers in Tilburg and the surrounding area. This class is organised in collaboration with DansBrabant.

What new expressions are possible thanks to another agency? What does it mean to connect, support, follow, manipulate, trust? How to be safe? How
enjoy? How to jump and catch? The class provides a set of tools for working in close physical contact with another person and a space to explore what is possible.

Hygin Delimat - choreographer, dance teacher and lecturer and producer, has been active in Austrian dance for many years and more recently in the Netherlands. He is the founder and leader of
de groep Body Architects, het Craft Choreography programma en de Mind Culture Podcast. Momenteel doceert hij hedendaagse dans aan universiteiten in Nederland (Fontys, ArtEZ). Nederland (Fontys, ArtEZ, Codarts), gespecialiseerd in vloerwerk en partnering. Zijn werk gekenmerkt door het verkennen van de extreme fysieke mogelijkheden van lichamen (met technieken uit breakdance en partnering) en performatieve staten die geassocieerd worden met catastrofe en overleven.
