Lesson: Ballet by Dario Tortorelli
In hisijn work and in life, Dario is always looking for balance between the physical and the immaterial. Through the basic structure of a ballet class - spatial awareness and musicality - he invites dancers to find harmony with their bodies in movement.

About Dario Tortorelli
Dario Tortorelli, born in Italy in 1977, is a dancer, creator and teacher living in the Netherlands.
After training in classical and contemporary dance, he began his career in France with Jeune Ballet de Cannes and Ballet de Nice. Since 2001, he has lived in the Netherlands, performing with Introdans, Conny Janssen Danst and WArd/waRD - Ann Van den Broek, among others.
Besides developing his artistic work, Dario teaches, coaches and choreographs for Dutch dance academies (Codarts, ArtEZ, AHK, Fontys) and teaches internationally as a guest lecturer with major companies, including Conny Janssen Danst, Scapino Ballet, Introdans, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, Tanz Mainz and Skånes Dansteater.
He recently joined ArtEZ as coordinator of the Bachelor of Dance Artist course, where he continues to share his knowledge in the field of dance and support the growth of young dance artists. Besides dance, he has also expanded his artistic practice into other areas, finding new ways of creating through botany and ceramic art.
