Frann Schollaert

From 6 May, maker/performer Frann Schollaert will be working in DansBrabant's studio from its residency at Makershuis Tilburg.

How do you translate human experiences into authentic movement? Within this residency, Frann explores this question. His work is all about intensity, expression and tapping into personal-often vulnerable-themes seen as taboo or controversial in society.

In his work, Frann strives to create a safer space where performers are invited to move from feeling rather than form. Body language as healing, as reaction, as memory. How does it feel? And what happens when we are instructed to really move?

At an interim presentation on 16 May, you will get an insight into Frann's process: a combination of artistic research, personal stories and physical explorations. Hen shares experiences, findings and invites you to join the conversation.
