KOMMA with Evangelos Biskas

Evangelos Biskas (1994 GR) is a dancer, choreographer, performer, dramaturg and teacher living and working in Tilburg.
The nature of the human body is central to Biskas' creations, which aim to provide space for its adaptable, intuitive and vulnerable qualities. His curiosity to explore new possibilities of working with the body brings an interdisciplinary essence to his projects that challenge the boundaries between dance, physical theatre, comedy, contemporary circus, sound design and new media.
He studied choreography at Fontys College of Fine Arts (FHK), and received the Moving Forward- Young Dance Makers Award in 2016. In 2017, he received a 3-year talent development programme called PLAN through Dans Brabant (NL). Later, he started collaborating with Corpo Màquina Society (NL). His work played at festivals such as Festival Ardanthé (FR), Dutch Dance Days (NL), Age of Aquarius (BG) and CapoTrave/Kilowatt (IT).
