Alienated organises open classes for professional performers in and around Tilburg. It is important for the community to stay in shape and train regularly. Alienated The Studio is an initiative of Alienated, made possible by DansBrabant and Jelena Kostic.

Lesson: Floorwork by Kelly Vanneste
Kelly delves into the art of using and pushing our most important tool: the body. Kelly guides you through a series of exercises to strengthen and use our body's strength and explosiveness. It's all about getting your heart rate up and shocking your body. Kelly believes that when fatigue strikes, you start moving naturally and in the right way for your body. It will be a combination of floor work and standing exercises, with getting in and out of the floor being a core element.

About Kelly Vanneste
Kelly Vanneste is a passionate dancer with more than a decade of experience in the dance world. She specialises in contemporary dance and has participated in several theatre projects (Particles, IB the company, Corpo Maquina). Kelly is the driving force behind her own dance initiative, *Alienated | Performance Art |*, through which she expresses her creative vision and unique style.

She also teaches at the Fontys Bachelor's programme in the Netherlands, where she shares her knowledge and passion for dance with the next generation of dance teachers and makers.

Kelly's drive comes from the physical intensity of dance and the ability to push the body to its limits, elements she considers essential to this art form.
